One Day Company Restorations
It is now possible to have a dissolved company restored within one day by applying to the Companies Registration Office under their recently introduced " fastrack" scheme.
Naturally a number of conditions apply which are as follows:
- The dissolved company must make the application for restoration within twelve months of being struck off.
- The company must be brought fully up to date.
- The company must not have allotted any shares during the period covered by the Annual Returns which are being filed. (This is because the allotment of shares requires the filing of a Form B5 which must be first sent to the Companies Capital Duty section of the Revenue Commissioners).
- An officer of the applicant company must physically attend the CRO and wait while the relevant documents are being processed. The purpose of this, is to have a Director or Secretary present who is capable of making any amendments that may be necessary.
